The Sophomore Biology classes of Mr. Pagawisan did a Protein Synthesis Escape Room activity. The activity was a mix of virtual and physical activities with challenges focusing on the application of DNA transcription and translation. Students completed a virtual escape room with hidden clue cards found inside the classroom and hallway. Students had a blast with this frustrating but fun experience!

Today, six NHS members got together to complete our third Thankful Door Project. This time, the members chose to work on Mr. Schaaf's classroom door. They highlighted his Montana History and Psychology courses, his love for coffee, and the University of Montana.

Week two has ended in our tab drive for the Ronald MacDonald House. The standings as of this Monday are as follows: In the first place, with 3.5 gallons, is the senior class. In second place with 2.25 gallons is the Sophomores. In third place with 2 gallons is the Freshman. In fourth place with 1.5 gallons is the Juniors. Finally, in last place, but we are closing the gap, with a little over a gallon is the DCHS staff. We collected 20.5 lbs of tabs for the Ronald MacDonald House thus far. DCHS held it's Winter Band Concert last night in the Auditorium. There were performances from the Jazz Band, DCHS Drumline, and Concert Band.
Some DCHS students attended an interactive workshop (Career Connections) created to explore career strategies provided by a group of local business experts. Students roleplayed, engaged, and learned what it takes to be employable in todays workforce.
