LUNCH: Tacos, fruit, veggie and milk or Salad Bar
A representative from Glendive Medical Center is here during home room today to speak with any students interested in the junior volunteer program over the summer at GMC. Candidates must be at least 11 years old and carry a “C” average to qualify. This is a great opportunity for any of you that are considering careers in a healthcare field. The meeting will take place after announcements in the gym.
We are taking submissions for the Joke of the Day that I read during the morning announcements. If you would like your joke to be considered please email it to Mr. Goyette for consideration.
The last day to turn TIP Kindness Awards in is today, May 10th
The last day to turn in box tops for this year is today. You may turn them in after this date, but they will go on next year's count.
Today is the last day for Peer Tutoring.
The mentor/mentee picnic will be on Tuesday, May 21st. You will need to bring a sack lunch on this day. Both mentors and mentees will miss their 4th periods.
The last dance for 7th and 8th graders is tonight, from 7:00 - 9:00. The doors will open around 6:55 and close at 7:05. The cost is $1.00 and the theme is Hollywood. We ask that you try to dress up a bit for it and no t-shirts will be allowed. Treats and punch will be provided. Please be sure to have a ride arranged to pick you up promptly at 9:00.
The Selfie of the week is posted in the hallway going up the stairs from the main entrance. Congratulations to our rock painting students for being selected this week! Thank you to everyone for submitting their pictures. Just a reminder that selfies must be then submitted to Mr. Goyette by email for consideration as the Selfie of the week. Please make sure you have teacher/staff member permission to have your phone out before you take any of the selfies. We want to see all of the cool things going on at WMS!
