MacKenzie Duede took 3rd in Original Oratory, Cassidy Rau took 5th and Lillian Rowland took 6th in Informative Speaking, Ora Neves took 5th and Lily Olmstead took 6th in Dramatic Solo, and Gage Schlosser took 5th in Impromptu Speaking. So proud of our team!

Lunch for Today: Orange chicken with rice & eggroll, veggie, fruit & milk

COED is scheduled for Saturday, November 19th. Doors open at 6:00, pictures from 6:00- 7:45, Grand March at 8:00, dance to follow. If you plan to attend the dance you must be present for at least half of the day on Thursday November 17th.
Juniors and Seniors: The recruiter for the US Army will be at DCHS over the lunch hour Today, Nov 16 with a table outside the cafeteria. The representative from Dickinson State University will visit DCHS tomorrow, Nov 17 at 9 am in the counseling office. See Mrs. Hoffer if you have questions.

REMINDER: DCHS and the rest of Glendive Public Schools is hosting Parent/Teacher Conferences tonight until 8 pm. We would love to see as many people there as possible!

DCHS Drama: Mrs. Tuma needs your scripts NOW! There are 5 missing! Bring them in ASAP or face the wrath of Tuma!
Juniors and Seniors: Several college representatives will be visiting DCHS in the next week. Carroll College will be here on Thursday, November 3 at 8:00, and Williston State College will be here on Monday, November 7th at 12 pm. Northern and Carroll will be in the counseling office, and Williston will have a table outside the cafeteria. Please see Mrs. Hoffer with any questions.
Coed Tickets: We will be selling COED tickets Nov. 7th through Nov. 14th during lunch outside the cafeteria. Tickets are $20 dollars each. Please pay when you sign up.
COED: If you are planning to bring an out of town guest to COED there is a permission slip in the principal’s office. They are due back to the office Monday, Nov. 14th.
Sign up sheets for winter cheer are in the office. Please sign up by November 10th. Information for try-outs on November 17 and 18 will be sent out via text message.

ANNOUNCEMENT: DCHS will hold the Winter Activities meeting for parents/guardians on November 15th at 7:00 PM in the DCHS Cafeteria. Coaches will hold their individual meetings following the general information meeting beginning at 7:30.
If a parent attended the Fall Activities meeting they are not required to attend the general meeting; however, their attendance at the meeting for their student's respective activity is required.

DCHS theater students will be performing Shrek: The Musical this weekend. Performances will be on Friday and Saturday at 7 pm and the Sunday matinee at 2 pm. We hope to see you there!

The DCHS Art Department has recently added Glendive Paddlefish HATS to their fundraising merchandise collection. They are being sold for $35 if you are interested. They would be great Christmas gifts which is only 60 days away!
Also, mark your calendars early for the 2nd Annual Art Show, set for March 30th!!!!

Congratulations to Caleb Myhre, Corbin Gabbert, Troy Arveson, Ryan DeSaye and Elsie Eckert who travel to Bozeman to attend All-State choir under the direction of Anton Armstrong. These students were selected by audition and will present a concert with the finest high school musicians in Montana on Friday Oct 21 at Gallatin High School. Good luck kids!
