Glendive Medical Center hosted classes from DCHS to allow the student an opportunity to gain knowledge about careers in the medical field and within the facility. Those who attended the Career Day were involved in activities provided by the Glendive Medical Center staff. The students experienced hands-on activities and were introduced to several of the departments throughout Glendive Medical Center while touring the facility. DCHS would like to thank Glendive Medical Center for hosting our students for the day and look forward to collaborating in the future.
DCHS Drama is proud to present “BIG THE MUSICAL - TYA” October 25 and 26 at 7pm and October 27 at 2pm in the DCHS Auditorium. Admission is $6 for Adults, $4 for Students, and Kids 5 & under are free.
The story is based on the motion picture “big” written by Gary Ross and Anne Spielberg: a Twentieth Century Fox Film. The book was written by John Weidman, music by David Shire, and lyrics by Richard Maltby, Jr.
12-year-old Josh Baskin is frustrated by all the things he’s not old enough, or BIG enough, to do. He makes a wish on a fortune telling machine to be big. He wakes up the next day to find his wish came true. Now his Mom doesn’t recognize him and he’s not ready for the responsibilities of adult life. With the help of his friend (Billy), he escapes from New Jersey to New York City to find shelter and a job while they try to locate the machine that will undo his wish. What better job is there for a kid in a man’s body than at a huge toy company?
BIG THE MUSICAL - TYA is presented through special arrangement with Music Theater International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI www.mtishows.com.
